Gus is a 2 year old, intact, large framed, ABCA registered border collie out of our breeding program. Gus is strong to the head, has a commanding nose bite, and is very confident either working alone or with other dogs. He is well started on cattle, he is solid on his directions, stop, and recall. Gus has lots of natural gather and natural self control. He covers his stock extremely well and is not a dog that's going to run through the middle of the herd. He is extremely biddable and wants to please! When Gus isn't working he is a nice dog to have around the ranch. Gus has a good "off switch" and is happy to hang out in the yard or ride around in the pickup. He is good with kids and overall a mellow, easy dog to get along with.
