Sarah and Lupe Venegas, owner/operators of SLV Stockdogs live outside Baker City, OR on the family ranch which they assumed operation of in 2020. Sarah and Lupe run a yearling operation and utilize their dogs on the ranch on a regular basis. Lupe has 20 plus years experience working for large cow/calf operations and using stockdogs on a daily basis. Sarah began learning about working dogs from Lupe and started her first dog in 2021. Since that time Sarah has started several young dogs that are now working on ranches in California, Texas, Colorado, Oregon, and Idaho. In their spare time they enjoy traveling to cattledog competitions in which Sarah and their two boys like to compete.
