Hi! My name is Pilar Martinez and this is my first year consigning a horse to the Pitchfork Horse Sale. I have been riding horses since I was 8 years old, started roping at 15, and started ranching at 19. Ranching quickly became my passion and led me to be the first intern at the Pitchfork Ranch. My knowledge and love for riding and training younger horses quickly grew thanks to the amazing Pitchfork crew, which pushed me to buy greener horses and ranch full time after graduating from Montana State University with a Livestock Management degree. I am very fortunate to be consigning a quality horse to this sale alongside many talented horsemen and women, and to be given the opportunity to learn from them.
